Vedrey Tora - is the first tanker, the construction of which was ordered from the Estonian company SRC Uuseehitused OÜ, the customer was the Swedish company Svithoid Tankers.

No, we didn't build this tanker! However, we sold fibreglass GRP gratings for this tanker, as hot-dip galvanised steel gratings will not work here. Of course, they are suitable, but the service life of steel gratings in such an aggressive environment and salty seawater will be short.

This tanker carries chemicals and petroleum products. Of course, another solution is also possible - stainless steel gratings AISI304 or AISI316 can be used, but the customer decided to use GRP gratings. Well, seven feet under the keel, would be our wish for that ship!
