Foot cleaning gratings (Press Welded)

Welded boot & shoe scraper grates.

It is a good substitute for press-locked grating, being stronger (including through smaller dimension between the bearing bars) and produced by a different procedure. Cells of the welded grating are larger than those of press-locked scrapers.

3. The figures above mean centre-to-centre dimensions. The cell opening size is 30×9 mm.

4. 33.0 mm is the dimension between the bearing bars.

5. 11.0 mm is the dimension between the cross bars.

6. 30×3 mm is the size of the bearing bar.

7. 10×2 mm is the size of the cross bar.

The figures above mean centre-to-centre dimensions. The cell clear opening is 13×33 mm.

You can request any other cell length, e.g. 16×50 mm, 16×76 mm, 16×100 mm. The grate would be as effective, but cheaper because of bigger dimension by the cross bar with no prejudice to load-bearing capacity or widening of the cell.

• 16.0 mm is the dimension between the bearing bars.
• 38.0 mm is the dimension between the cross bars.
• 30×3 mm is the size of the bearing bar.
• 5 mm is the diameter of the twisted cross bar.

For better anti-slip properties type PW 16х38/30х3/D-5 mm Bearing bar serrated, SR4 is recommended as having serrated bearing bars. 

Type PW 16х38/30х3/D-5 mm Bearing bar serrated, SR4 is particularly good for unsheltered applications, where heavy snow can easily stuff the cells and make the grate surface super-slippery.
