Facade Gratings
Facade grating: what is it?
Our product range includes:
- Press Welded grating
- Press-locked grating
- Full grating
- Louvres
Louvres grating, we presume, need not much comment, being mounted – naturally – square to the surface, on the walls, windows. Besides, such grills may be rather fine office dividers.
Full grating is no way inadequate for façade solutions, if to consider its production method. It is applicable where appearance and light permeability restriction matters, and no high load-bearing capability is required.
Press Locked grating is the most popular kind of grating in Western Europe. It is used – and the only one used – not only for walkways, but generally for façade applications.
Press Welded grating seems to be originally intended only for pedestrian walkways, cartways and roads.
However, our Baltic architects have gone beyond the initial idea and began using it for façade and other similar applications.
We had certain doubts, of course, but seeing such grating at the Vilnius airport façade swept all questions away.
The basic description of the grating includes the following:
Application is the product of client’s imagination, architect’s and engineer’s efforts and, of course, actual design specifications and requirements.
Therefore, do try improvise, and your bold solution may come real in the very unexpected place! While we will be here, by your side, to bring the project to life.
